Imogen Heap is no longer going to be playing with Tori Amos.
My mom bought me three tickets as a 16th birthday preasent.
And now it's all gone to waste.
I dont know what to do.
It was the only thing I was looking forward to this summer.
The only thing keeping me happy.
Now it's gone.

And im sure there's something else that can keep you happy.

Here's what I suggest.
Try to get a refund from ticketmaster (sometimes they do it, sans service charge if the bill changes, as it did)
get tickets to wherever she is playing next.
get greyhound tickets to wherever shes playing next.

She's not touring in the US either.
She posted on her site saying "blah blah I'm not touring in the U.S."
So I thought I should check and see if she was still gunna be in toronto.
And she isn't.
I dont LIKE tori amos... I mean.. she's talented.
but I loathe her compared to Imogen Heap.
What makes it worse was that my mom payed around 200 dollars for all 3 tickets.
It was a birthday preasent.
All for a singer I find marginally pleasing.
My mom's calling ticketmaster right now to see if she can get a refund.

well according to ticket master..
We cant get a refund if an opening band cancels or postpones.
So now I'm screwed.
My sixteenth birthday preasent is 200 dollars worth of jack shit wrapped up in suckiness.

I'm just really upset.
Cuz I never thought she'd come.
And then when I found out she was coming I was so excited.
Everything seemed good.
And then just a month before the concert..
she cancels.

Yah you dont know how depressed this has made me.
I couldn't tell my mom what was wrong cuz I burst out into tears.
And she's practically deaf...
so she made it worse by going..

well right now...
it seems impossible that there's anything better than seeing my favorite singer in the world.. live, and close up.
I had pit tickets and we were gunna go there early so we could be at the front.

i would have to agree that if it were my favorite band i would be super bummed out, too.
my week has been pretty shitty when it comes to social needs/expectations, also. so you can take comfort in that. haha ♥
