I guess the patriarchal system in power is trying to do what it did to the 13th sign Ophiuchus 'serpent bearer'. Who knows, maybe in a thousand years our descendants may forget Pluto too.. If we forget, then it will no longer have as strong an influence.
Pluto is a planet, regardless of the maundering of astronomers. There was resistance in 1930 too. Ironically, the "discovery" of Pluto coincided with the manifestation of underworld monsters(Stalin, Hitler, Hirohito, Mussolini) on the outer world. Pluto deals with the evolutionary principle and collective karma just as the moon deals with the ego and personal karma.
