I had been a little concerned about my bridesmaid to be as i have had difficulty contacting her.

I found out today that a murder took place literally IN THE HOUSE ACROSS THE ROAD!!!

A 25 year old girl lost the plot and killed her father and sister and stabbed her mother. The next door neighbor was mowing the lawn at the time so most people didn't

It's unfortunate that these divisive dogmas cause people to respond to situations with fear rather than trust and hence, bad outcomes.

Tom Cruise, so embarrassing. His tv rants about psychiatry have essentially made him vanish from Hollywood because we associate his name with crazy yelling and couch jumping - not exactly box office draws.

Psychiatry has some dark origins and history, for certain. The study of the mind, however, is essential as we move into the Aquarian Age. There's no closing the door of cosmic mind, and all the little boxes religions build won't be able to contain it. Or so I hope in bright moments.

The sad truth is that i loved Tom Cruise in 'Cocktail'.. (don't tell anyone :P)

I am yet to meet a Psychiatrist who does not have their own serious mental issues. I wanted to be a psychologist for a long time but finally decided against it when i realized the training would 'close me up' and force me to put people in boxes. Also, No psychiatrists or psychologists was able to help me when i was battling the darkness of my soul. The only help i got from them was the medication (which held back the 'gloom' giving me a chance to regain my strength and face my daemons).

I totally agree with you. The mind needs to be explored without trying to fit the findings in to established religions for humanity to get a glimpse in to universal conciousness. Water logic (the Aquarian Ages gift) is already penetrating our pre-formed rock logic beliefs.. those who struggle to harmonize will self destruct, but harmonize they will.... eventually.

One of the reasons I continued my study of astrology is that I found a couple authors who dealt with Pluto as evolutionary motivator. The first book is called The Hades Moon by Judy Hall and the second is the pair of Pluto books by Jeff Green.

Both of them point out the victim-perpetrator link and that people who are healers now are able to be healers because they carry the perpetrator energy and understand how the person is wounded. And the truth is hidden in the very words used - psychotherapist breaks down to psycho the rapist.

There's a huge Scientology center down here in Hollywood, and I've heard that folks who work for them are practically indentured servants...

The weirdest thing I ever heard about Scienctology is tthat it was started as a bet between L. Ron Hubbard and either another author, or someone from the Golden Dawn magickal traditions, to see who could start a religion without a foundation, and have people totally buy into it (obviously Golden Dawn was not the religion since it's been around for quite some time)

I'd never heard that before (how it started).. I don't find Scientology different to any other established religion, there is truth and lies in all, one has to read between the lines and apply inner sense to see where the information fits in

I am sorry to hear this unfortunate story, but I am glad that your friend is ok.

It's amazing how religious beliefs affect the free will of individuals...across the world. And it's quite sad to me. After several religious experiences, I've decided to choose my own path as well.
