Awww, I hope you're feeling better! Soccer will get you in shape in no time girl!

As for the new laws...there are clauses written in our employee contracts that state that you can be terminated or leave without giving cause at any time. I know it's lousy!!!

I scored a goal today!! yay :) my first eva!

it's terrible. My partner can be fined $25,000 for attending a union meeting or protesting.... also, we no longer have the right to remain silent.

I hope i can make some changes before i leave..

That's so cool about the soccer goal! I bet you were so excited...scooooore!!! This will probably sound silly, but is it summer where you are?

I didn't know how bad the situation was that you could be fined for expressing free choice. I am sure that you will changes...you already are just being here :-)

Its summer and very hot.... the weather has been very strange though (like most parts of the world at the moment). It can go from being a scorching dry 40 degrees one day to freezing cold and or rainy day the next.. rain is also a big problem here as most of the country is in drought. The dams are in the wrong places and the weather is unpredictable...

Indeed...strange weather patterns around the world. It's December and in the mid-50's here which is very bizzare for the east coast of the US. There was a earthquake (3.5) 30 minutes away from my work today!!! It is not usual for the east coast to have earthquakes, so it was a bit startling..
