Giving birth to a two year old!

Well we went on a tour of the hospital's birthing floor last night. I think it did Butt monkey a world of good. The nurse giving to tour was ulta-sweet and explained everything on a child's level of understanding...the other people on the tour just smiled. I think that showing her where mommy is going to be and the new baby helped solve some

wow! i hope that still happens when i have a 1st one and a 2nd one is on the way. they never did that for me before Susie was born. I swear i remember my parents giving me almost like grown up books about babies. it was weird. i mean some had pretty pictures and then some just got down to what boys have and what girls have and their were naked pictures in the book. i know i had a baby doll of my own and a highchair and crib, etc. but i swear i never remember mom being pregnant or asking questions. i remember late at night dad taking me to the neighbors to spend the night (i didn't know them well but my parents did) and then daddy taking me to see mom and Susie and they let me feed her a bottle (we have a pic of it somewhere). I was pretty excited to and I think mom always let me help out and they'd love to sit her on my back. we have home movies of me talking in the "sing song" voice to her and loving on her.

now i just hate the brat.
