I am now aist deep in papers and phone calls with parents. Right now I have one parent who is bound and determined to "stick it" to me. She thinks that just because I am a 1st year teacher she can bully me into getting a better grade for her child. She too is a teacher and is questioning EVERYTHING I do in my classroom. Other teachers can be a teacher biggest problem. One of my best teachers was my Jr year English teacher. She encourage creativity, not squash it like others. After one of the parent teachers nights. There was a comment that Susie Q's mom didn't understand what Teacher is doing and the mom is a college professor. (couldn't have been a good one)

Stay strong don't let them bug you.

Hey ya. I'm glad to hear that you're doing good with teaching and all that. I know being in charge of that many kids isn't easy.

As for auditions, I haven't heard anything about it. I'm already working on getting time to do Faire with work, and it looks like they'll be giving me one weekend day off a week until May, when they'll give me the weekends for the run. But I won't start getting a weekend day off until about mid Feb. so I'm kind of wondering when the audtions are. I've been out of the Ren loop too long and am itching to get back in.

I'm sorry that other teacher is giving you a hard time. My mom is a teacher and always made a point of, while telling the teacher her own profesion, also making sure the teacher knew she was behind the teacher and me. She always tried to be fair. Would that the run of the mill parents would do this, huh?

I think it is great that your principal is standing behind you, and that there is talk of next year! That is super! Knowing you you are a fantastic teacher, who makes the kids love coming to school, and I'm sure they have lots of stories to tell when they get home!

Whoot on the walking, are they so much fun! Looking forward to seeing you next weekend! Take care, much love to you and your family!

I am so excited about getting to be a faerie with you again this year, doll.

And from what I've heard from my mother problem parents who are also teachers can be the worse. I'm sorry you're having to deal with that.
