        Hello 2010! Ok, so it's been 2010 for nearly a month but this is the first post of the new year for me. It still doesn't feel quite right writing '10 on the date, I still write the zero first and have to squeeze in the one in front of it. I totally agree with you, Becca.
I've lied about my counseling appointments too.
Almost as if it's not ok to be in counseling.
The word counseling, by it's definition is simply guidance in resolving personal conflicts and emotional problems.
Why should anyone be ashamed of bettering themselves..?
I'm not.
I find it helpful to have an un-biased someone to help talk me though emotional aches and depression.
I'm constantly changing and experiencing new things and it helps to talk.
It's sad that some people view counseling as shameful.

Yes, exactly! It's so sad that people look at counseling as weakness, I think it takes real strength to admit that you need help. I have really found it useful to feel like some one is listening and, more than anything, like my problems are real and valid.

And thanks for the kudos on my metaphorical balls :)
