I added _The Urban Homestead_ to my Amazon shopping list, and under the "you might like this based on that choice" was _Getting Out: Your Guide to Leaving America_... wanting to have chickens in my backyard makes me disenchanted with the American Political System?!

I'm a mother, a liberal, a voting taxpayer. Please reject Paulson's "rough draft". Have you read it? Do you see that, in section 8, he wants to do whatever he wants and with no congressional or judicial oversight? Do you understand that as COO of Goldman Sachs, he personally helped *create* this mess?

i have a garden. i am growing so many things! it's so exciting!

at the moment, the only harvestables (word?) are the herbs... but i have high hopes.
