I have that book. It's pretty entertaining, that's for sure, even if I don't agree with many of her parenting ideas or maybe I should rephrase that and say that the same tactics which worked beautifully with Ellery would have failed miserably with Willow, haha.
I have it and it's more like a sanity check book - no I'm not going crazy, yes this is normal. I don't agree with all her solutions - but it's nice to read and just remember that this too shall pass and I'll miss it when it's gone...
I'd forgotten that 'curry' is a UK phenomenon, it's not indigenous to India (and not to other parts of Asia).
And to see the many schools where "chicken nuggets" are served, with ketchup as an accompaniment (I remember the news discussions of the Feds saying that ketchup qualified as a vegetable in the menu)...good grief, when do kids get something baked or broiled in a healthier way?
The woes of food programs in the U.S.--but other parts of the world are similarly weak in dietary quality.
