So I've packed most of my stuff and it still doesn't feel like I'm moving out yet. Kinda wondering whether it's kicked in yet or whether I'm actually bothered about it. Hmmmmm....

I suppose it helps that it's totally the right thing to do and also awesome.

For the past 5 years whenever we've talked one of the questions I've asked in EVERY conversation is "When are you moving out?"

I have no idea what I'm going to talk about with you anymore.

I hope we can still be friends now we've got nothing to talk about :)

It won't have sunk in yet. When it does sink in, I think you'll be happy (with the occasional twinge of missing the old area and/or panic). But Mikey's right - you've made the right decision. You're moving to a fab job in a beautiful part of the country. Your friends will stay in touch.
