In your ask.metafilter "economy" post, you mention several times that
you recently got a great credit card... what card is that?
I don't have a metafilter or LJ account so I can't use the in-house mail
system... I tried emailing you but they bounced :-(
> * I just applied for and received a super-low-rate credit card -- and
> my research confirms that the rate will actually not ever rise
That sounds great. Would you please update your metafilter thread with
the card's info for people like me who are looking for a new one?
Thanks!

I hope you'll understand why I'd rather not mention that information publically. But I can tell you that http://www.creditcardguide.com/ is one of two sites I looked at to select that card -- it has a good, impartial rundown of the different kinds of credit card offers out there -- which ones have reward points, which ones have low rates, etc.

Actually no, not really. Perhaps you think I'll use that to steal your identity? The chance of that is so close to zero as to make no odds. Especially compared to say, giving your actual card to the waiter at a restaurant, or buying something online. *shrug*
Anyway, congrats to you for living below your means and working hard to pay off your debt. I can tell you from my own experience that it's _such_ a relief when you finally become debt-free. (For me, it was paying off student loans)
Best of luck to you now and always :-)

Not necessarily you, but someone in the public in general. Better safe than sorry, is all.
