Know anything about navelina oranges?

Is the navel supposed to be a full second orange so that there is a big orange wrapped around a little one?

Yep, I've seen them that way. Usually it's just a small navel, like one or two 'pieces,' but I've seen them where the navel is fully formed, almost like a tiny tangerine. It's usually not that tasty, though; kind of woody and dry.
