I watched Winged Migration last night. It's beautiful, but please only watch it alone. It's a documentary, with no special effects or alterations, of the migration of various birds. With a few narrated comments as well as subtitled factual information, the movie is all visual. It begins with the excursions north, then concentrates on summer

it's funny; i read the 'best memories' paragraph, and wondered for a moment if you were quoting me, haha. not that i've typed that, just that i totally agree, and my favorite places are new orleans and penscola, too. however, i'm moving to atlanta.

i'm worried now, because my friend and i have plans to watch winged migration (together) tomorrow...will it really be that bad to watch it together?

How did Winged Migration go? It's not TOO bad to watch it with someone. I just find things like this movie far more romantic spent alone.

We ended up watching The Triplets of Belleville and About Schmidt instead, neither of which anyone should watch while already irritated. We were both super excited about Triplets, and it turned out to have NO dialogue, just some music and whistling. Drove me crazy. And About Schmidt....was about stupid.

Atlanta: More jobs, out of Alabama, more schools to search for, huge. Not to mention James's best friend lives there, so he really wants to go. But yes. You can come to our apartment-warming party :) And we'll go eat, too.
