More falcon stalking

The little ones are almost grown-up now and I assume that they will leave their home in the next few days.

I actually heard the therm from American archaeology. the Mississippian culture seemed to worship a falcon-man god, and the pattern you see on his face and in their iconography is called the "weeping eye", the peregrine falcon's face markings :)
