So I figured that now that I'm trying to make an effort to reconnect with LJ, I should post an entry that isn't about me coming to the unpleasant and suprising realisation that my cat isn't immortal (no news from the vet, yet, I'll keep you posted). Well, here are some tips from someone who's been doing it a long time and who isn't too bad at it (according to people who should know) - which might help (although I'm with you on the road rage

If it makes you feel any better, I went the wrong way down a one-way lane in a parking lot Saturday night, and I did it AS the security truck was coming, so I got yelled at and had to back up to get out. HORRIFYING. /o\

You and I can never drive together as we would just make all of our bad habits worse. It would be epic, though probably not in a good way.

BUT. I haven't hit anyone or anything! No vehicular manslaughter! The car remains dent and scratch free! Guys, I will get the hang of this yet.

Oh girly, it ain't a big deal, it's just experience! Once you've been driving for a while, you'll get better at directions and such. Everyone goes through some minor mishaps gaining that experience. I've been driving for fifteen years and I know it took me a good year or two to become really confident behind the wheel.

I have no talents whatsoever.. except for a good sense of direction. I don't ever look at maps, I've never even laid eyes on GPS, and I can find my way out of almost any place. And even for me... going the wrong way and having to backtrack and take a few different ways before I get to where I'm going HAPPENS. It's ok <3
