I watched part of an episode the other day. Randomly scanning the channel guide, I recognized the name. But since I had no idea what the set up was, I spent 10 minutes being completely bewildered and then went back to channel surfing. Time to look Gen Rex up on Youtube, I guess.

That was exactly what I thought the fist time I came across it. That and 'wow, that cartoon looks exactly like PJ Ransone...why is he growing mechanical weapons out of his body?' And then somehow, out of nowhere, I got completely hooked and watched two and a half seasons in a row and started having FEELINGS about it all. SIIIIIIIGH.
