Currently it is a quiet Sunday afternoon. Abnormal around here. O Come Let Us Adore Him is joyfully resounding from the den. This is my first time at home during the full extent of the holidays in five years. It's not that I don't love the holidays, it's just that I've been thinking of how they will change for me in the coming year. I grew up ( Read more... )

....and think how much it's changed since last year! you're missing out without the paper christmas trees, the foam 'teehee' lady, and Eve as the gift that keeps on giving (points). i've started playing the music here, but i doubt my roommate will let me cut out things and tape them to the walls. it's also hard to drink eggnog & cocoa when it's 90+ degrees outside.

xoxoxo

ps- i know you'll buy your babies the best Fisher Price set ever- the kind that grills e cheezey... :)

i personally appreciated the bud-light decorated christmas tree that was found at a prime tailgate spot behind the library this past weekend. nothing says 'tis the season like good ole fashion holiday festivities 'redneck style' =)

Well, now, I like your idea of a simple Holiday. But I'd like to point out that shopping ahead sometimes just makes sense. Stuff is cheaper, the stores aren't crowded with people in a glut of holiday shopping frenzy. Overall I like shopping ahead, I think it gives me more time to enjoy the season.

And by the time you have you're first kid, Fischer price will be out, and Playstation, simu-cooker will be in. Believe me, all the hip moms will be buying it.

PS We missed you at home-coming, I hope you have a very happy holiday season (that includes Thanksgiving AND Christmas AND newyears, so I guess you better be happy for 2 months)
