So last weekend I went up to Austin to see Southern Belle. It was interesting timing, b/c SB took me to the Capitol (where she works, doncha know) to see the late Gov. Ann Richard's casket/memorial

With the exception of the chicken-fried-steak place, that is pretty much my exact eating itinerary when I go to Austin!

And I know what you mean about the affection--with no boyfriend here in town, I rely on my snuggly friends to hug and touch me and fill that "I need intimacy with people who get me" quota.
