No. If I understand you the right way I think everybody experiences something like that. The first moment you think he's the love of your life and after somoe time the feeling fades and you're not quite sure what you were thinking back then.

And he's not extraordinary. He's just as normal as everybody else. If you think he's so perfect then don't give up. If you think you're ordinary, don't give up. Maybe ordinary is just what he needs to stay grounded? ;o) Don't be so harsh to yourself!
