Jeyne had been terribly excited to hear that a new island had been discovered, and even moreso that Robb would be among those to go and explore it. She was somewhat worried for his safety, but not as much as she might have been had this happened a year ago. She hoped that the prospect of something productive to do would lift Robb's spirits a bit, although nothing could compensate for the loss of Lady Catelyn, which she knew still hurt him. He wasn't gone terribly long, but while he was gone she missed him a great deal, and kept herself busy tending the house. It seemed quite empty with only herself, Sansa, Eddara, and Lord Stark about, but even with so few people there was a great deal to do.
The evening of Robb's return, Jeyne went to a good deal of trouble over the evening meal, listening to Robb and Arya's tales of sailing and the new island with great interest. After everyone had eaten their fill and all the stories had been told, she cleared the table with a slight yawn and set about the task of cleaning and tidying away. Finally she was finished, and closed the cupboard door with a little sigh. Perhaps she would have an early night tonight, if Robb was agreeable. It was good to have him home again.
