Know what? I didn't cry at mine either. Mostly I was just happy, though, 'cause it was finally over. In retrospect, I'm a bit sad because of the fact that I won't see the people I adore much anymore - side effect of moving out of state.
But, y'know, I don't think it matters whether you cry or not at graduation. I think you summed it up nicely: just because it's an ending doesn't mean it's not a beginning too. Life goes on, and the point is to make the best of it.
So go on and be the "Typical Lonnie", because there's nothing wrong with being consistently you. ^_~
