I registered for my first lindy exchange!
For those who are asking, "Who is Lindy and why are we exchanging him?"... A lindy exchange is a weekend-long swing dance festival. A swing club in some part of the U.S. will plan a weekend of dance events, usually lasting from early afternoon through 3 or 4 in the morning Thursday - Sunday, and lindy-hoppers from accross the country converge on the city. It's a chance to exchange moves and learn new tricks from people you would never have met otherwise.
I have finally found the perfect combination of timing, housing, and cost. The Floor of Dreams Lindy Exchange (April 21-23) should help me get my swing fix for a while. Champaign, IL, look out. Here I come!
