Doing better...

My wrist, which has been in a brace since I got off the plane on Thursday, is doing much better. According to all the advice I've read, I should have gone to a doctor, and had it Xrayed, and checked out: it was really painful, and swollen, and the fingers were occasionally going cold on me (not unexpected; due to another 'syndrome' that often manifests but doesn't really do anything but make me uncomfortable). However, I tend act as though I really were a doctor (backhanded dig at the rest of my family, most of whom are doctors and are the worst patients in creation) I always wait and see. I just hate to waste both my and the doctor's time over something that , if I do the reasonable thing, will heal on its own. Looks like this time I was right. It still aches and can't bear any weight or pinching movement, but it's definitely on the mend, and has far more painles range of motion than it did. Perhaps tomorrow I can even return to swimming. I feel like a slug from the lack of exercise.
In direct contrast to most other people lately, I've just added a bunch of names to my friends list that had appeared on my user info... Of course if I keep doig this, I'll be doing nothing but keeping up with people, but I don't think that's gonna be a real problem. I skim through so much now... I can read what looks interesting and comment or not, and go back if I need to. It does keep me feeling connected toother folks out there
