So...I got that job I wanted--the Monday-Thursday, 7:30-5:00 one. I like the family I'm working for, specifically the mother. It's a so-so situation, because though I like the hours, the job itself is really taxing my patience. Today was much better than every day last week, though. A few days ago, I received my first major sunburn of the summer. Yeah, it's going to be a tan soon, but seeing as I'm so smart and all, why did I not apply sunscreen? Today was another great day with Ian, despite the humidity. We went swimming first, then went and played pool and air hockey, and then went back to his mom's house for food and baseball. News: I found a tolerable summer job, and though it's part-time, it's quite a blast so far. I'm babysitting for a family in Old Town and the kid is absolutely adorable (while hyper at the same time). The Colorado trip was good but much too brief for my liking, kind of like the California trip we took in January. The whole purpose was to spend time with and meet Joel's family, and somehow I don't think we fully accomplished that goal because we only stayed for two days.
