wake me up inside wake me up inside call my name and save me from the dark bid my blood to run before i come undone save me from the nothing i’ve become
You speak the truth, good sir, of the crack-hoedom about the oft-quoted and highly overrated muse whose lyrics are currently being employed by our mutual friend, Gen. Regardless of this, the words happen to be very poignant to the lady and therefore become something independent of the actual artist who vomited them out, like so many nights of said coke usage. Are an artist's lyrics liable for the infractions of the artist? If they truly represent the feelings being experienced, are they not an acceptable way of expressing oneself without allying with the infractions of those who created them?
