[The Gardens are exceptionally pretty at sunset, which is the main reason Canada's still lying around outside. The other reasons she's still outside include the fact that she's trying to write a list of smalltalk topics for when she goes to the ball - knowing her mother, it's pointless to try to fight going - and it's hard to think about socializing unless she's got a bear with her, and she's pretty sure America doesn't want a bear kicking around the kitchen while Canada makes dinner.
When the vine starts recording her, she's laying on her stomach over top of one of the Garden's serious-looking brown bears. The video frames her face and the way that one curl of hers keeps brushing across her face, but from enough of a distance that anyone watching can see the parchment she's been writing on and the bear she's laying across, asleep with its chin resting on its front paws.

Hey, I... assume there's a few people here that are really good at socializing and making friends and all that, and I was wondering if there were any really good tips for talking to people anyone had. Between the ball coming up and how I was sort of thinking it would be nice to invite the other countries from my world over for dinner or something sometime, but I'm just so bad at conversation with most of them and sometimes with strangers, too. I just never know what I'm supposed to talk about! With strangers or people I've known for years, but who don't necessarily remember me, either because they're from an earlier time than I am or just because I'm forgettable. [Pause.] Actually, that happens a lot, sometimes.
Umm, but, yeah, if anyone has any really good things to talk about when you're making friends - or re-making friends - it'd be really swell if you shared.
