[Mami almost screams when she falls into this dream, bolting up white-faced and tense. The feeling is familiar, both that longing warmth of acceptance and the overwhelming sensation of being torn apart. Her fingers trace an invisible line around her neck, and her breathing is quick and shallow for a few moments until her composure returns to her.

She notices the orange downpour beyond the windows before she does the silent Hikari, and she squeezes her eyes shut once as if to blink away the impossible sight.]

...what on earth?

[She looks up at that remark, and notices a familiar face by her.]

... Mami-san?

[Her gaze tears itself away, focuses on Hikari. There's no relief in seeing someone she knows.]

I...yes, it's me. What's going on?

Huh?

[Hikari thinks, and then remembers the sound of the rain. She closes in on herself.] ... It's raining.
