Tenshi stood at the racing ground, looking around. "This looks like a piece of cake." She exclaimed, then looked in the direction of her 'team mate'.

"You better don't cause us to fail here."

A perfect start for a race.

Utena frowned, and quietly returned to stretching out her arms and legs in preparation. "It's not as easy as it looks. You shouldn't be so overconfident, y'know."

She would not be so cautious, were she racing on her own, but this sort of activity required cooperation and teamwork.

[Sure, I'd like to continue. I might be a little slow because I've got a cold, though. Don't worry about missing the reply! Happens to me all the time, haha.]

Tenshi nodded. "Oh, I'm not over confident, I just know my abilities. Which are beyond those of a human, that's for sure. This isn't even a proper battle."

"It's not a battle," Utena retorted, giving Tenshi a quizzical look. "Say, have you ever done this before? You know the rules, right?"

[peachhat]

"It's a contest against others, which is close enough." Tenshi said, still completely sure about herself. "And of course I haven't done it before, but it can't be too hard."

[ofnobility]

"Well, no..." Utena corrected, as gently as she could manage. The ego on this one... "It's not as easy as that. We've gotta work together, see?" She pointed down. "Our legs are going to be tied together, so we have to coordinate our running. Otherwise we'll lose."

"Right, but I'm pretty agile AND strong, so I should be able to compensate for your mistakes."

"That said, it probably would be easier just to watch out for you a bit, for that teamwork stuff..."

Utena quirked an eyebrow, and continued to stretch out her arms and legs. "My mistakes? You've never even played something like this..."

A sigh, and a slight grin. At least this strange girl agreed that teamwork was the best method. Maybe it wouldn't be so bad. "Right! I think working together's the best way to do things."
