[Fang has turned this balancing a gamut of stuffed toys and eating fair food task into something of an art. She is carrying a bunch of of the fluffy toy animals in one hand (a plush cat is on top of her head), and eating this "pretzel" snack with the other. Over the course of the fair she has stopped at a number of food stands, and when she could be pulled away from that, she'd been carrying around these goofy toys for Vanille.

(The cat atop her head was perhaps won by her, in order to give to Homura, as an apology, but she would not readily admit that.)

She almost drops one of the animals for the third time (a "penguin," she'd been told was the name of it), and curses under her breath. She's going to lose her pretzel, at this rate...] Vanille, do you really need all of these?

[recalls]

[Vanille has been walking beside Fang, arms swinging by her sides in blissful freedom. With Fang around, she doesn't have to carry a thing, and it's almost certain that if she were carrying things, she'd shove them at Fang every time she wanted to run off to look at something knew, which would be about once per minute. It's just easier this way.

She turns at Fang's question, trying in vain to suppress a laugh.] Well, we won them, didn't we? They'll be good for decorating!

What do you think, Hope?

( Hope is walking a step or two behind the two, but peeks over the oversized chick (not a chocobo chick either, just a chick) plush in her arms at the question. )

I think it'll give the house more character. ( Not that their house didn't have enough of that. ) Or at least it'll be more colorful now.

( It definitely had enough of that too. )

[Fang glances over her shoulder at Hope. The little traitor!] Easy for you two to say. I'm gonna drop my pretzel...thing if one of you wins another toy.

[recalls]

[Eyes bright, Vanille just laughs at that.] We can always get you another one!

[She hangs back for a beat, until she's walking in time with Hope, and bumps her shoulder against the younger girl's. It's nice, to be able to spend time like this together. It's the sort of family thing they'd probably never get to do back in their world, and for a moment she's grateful to the Queen for allowing them this peace.] What do you want to try next?

I can help carry some too, if you want. ( She say, giggling and despite the fact that chick plush was already taking up most of the space in her arms.

Hope perks up, glancing over toward Vanille when the other girl bumps her shoulder. She can't admit her thoughts are not that different, this kind of thing... she really wishes everyone could be here to experience it. ) Um, well... some of the rides do look fun.

[brands]

[Fang speaks around a bite of said pretzel:] But I like this one.

[...And shakes her head at Hope's suggestion.] It's fine. It looks like your hands are full already. [She stops talking for a few moments to finish off the pretzel, and puts in her own suggestion for a ride.] Let's try one of those fast-looking ones, with all the loops.

[recalls]

[Pain in the ass.] What's so special about that one?

[Vanille looks at the rides Fang is referring to, not without some trepidation.] I don't know... [She looks to Hope.] Don't they look a little scary?

( And Hope looks to Vanille, chuckling. ) Not as scary as falling out of an airship.
