I feel very ignored when no one comments on my lj entries. Don't more of my friends still read lj or should I not bother with it?

ditto. plus i've noticed the same thing on my journal (back when i was still posting regularly). i've had several instances when people mentioned a journal entry in conversation with me even though they hadn't left a comment. for what it's worth...

yep- I read, and I comment! . . . if I feel so inclined (which has been more frequent recently)

Thanks, Del! You're the only one who actually commented to one of my last two real entries (not counting this one). I appreciate it, since half the purpose of writing in a lj (for me) is getting attention.
