Do any of you know how to set a computer so the settings allow it to screencap? I saw it in a community like a year ago and so I set my desktop like that, but my new laptop arrived in the mail today and I don't know how to set it anymore, and I don't remember which community it was because I remember it being an off-topic entry.

on a pc: you go to START => Control Panel => Display=> Settings =>Advanced => Troubleshoot

Move "Hardware acceleration" from FULL to NONE.
Always change it when you're done making caps.

if you dont change it back then other applications of your computer work slower. but as i was typing that for you, i was goin through it and i realized my computer has been on that setting for probably 2 months now and i hadnt noticed that i didnt change it back lol. so it cant be that bad but kim ( starbuck04 ) told me you HAD to change it back otherwise it could be bad for your computer
