After it was over I flew down the high way. 110 mph. Called Leann. She talked me down from a panic attack.

Couldn't breathe.

Couldn't see.

Couldn't do anything ut cry and scream.

I felt like I just cut off my own hand.

I drove 80 mph through town tonight. There was an urge to just drive...to get away. A need to be alone.

I'm discovering more and more that it's better just to live life--and to stop dwelling on the things we cannot control. (The future being one such thing.)

I don't know. I'm tired and I have to work all week.

Is it fall yet?

I know I should be sleeping. Work tomorrow will suck if I don't get at least six to seven hours of rest, otherwise I'll end up passing out behind the desk, and won't be able to serve the 5 customers we're going to get ( Read more... )

The other day as I drove through Hartford, I couldn't help but notice an entire parking lot devoted to some sort of basketball event. Tons of hoops set up, kids playing 3v3 and 2v2...

Made me remember AAU and the time before Loomis.

I could bitch about how utterly stressed out I am right now at home--but I hate admitting that I'm "stressed." To describe oneself as stressed is the cop-out phrase of our generation.
