Vast tracts of land were still shattered and ruined from the war against the Devourlord. The armies of the Netherworld were still tired and recovering from their losses. Now was a time of rebuilding. At least, it should have been

*Out of the sky over the hell raven forms a storm of psionic lightning, striking at her and everything around her. Kerrigan herself has come to deal with this one.*
I warn people to stay away but no one ever listens.
[May not have been a good idea. Being the unholy engine of destruction that he is, Zetta quickly finds himself standing upon a pile of dead bodies. He also found himself getting more tired than he should be. Perhaps it has something to do with that faint red mist that is rising from some of the zerg that are a bit behind the front line. It's certainly making him feel light headed.]
[Dracula's press-ganged minions are defending the castle to the best of their abilities against the Zerg Rush. He grabs a little zergling that snuck through the first defenses]
I do not know if you can hear through your little parasites - Miss Kerrigan - But I will tell simply that I am no foe you can simply bat away. I am Warlord and King. Challenge me at your species' peril!
[With that, he defenestrate the pathetic creature]
[He watches as the castle psychically squeals in his mind as it tried to reinforce itself against the globs - but gave under and sizzled]
Clever little witch.
[He stays inside, and throws his hands out. This was not his world, he could no longer command the entire land around his castle, he could no longer conquer up terrible storms and bone-chilling fog with a thought]
My Castle, My Domain. True Hell shall come to you for this invasion!
[With that, spheres of molten rock, held together by pure magic appear all around the castle, and flung themselves to intercept the acidic globs and return the favor]
[Some distance away, Guardians slowly maneuver out of the way of the globs of lava, and they're far enough out that a good deal of them have time to actually manage it. They stop firing and just wait.]
An impressive display of force, vampire, but unless you can maintain it 24 hours a day, it is ultimately meaningless. I can wait.
And here I thought our causes were aligned. Our target, after all, is ultimately the same, as far as matters, correct? Defeat Baal, and return to our own worlds.
It seems, however, that you would care to defy the social contract implicit with this.
Social contract? I thought you understood me better than that. This is evolution at work. The stronger species will survive, the unfit will fall behind. Or in this case, the unfit will get horribly devoured. Once you are all unified to my purpose, defeating Baal will be far more possible than it could ever be with you all working on your own.

*With a wave, Kerrigan sends in a flight of scourage, the small zerg breed attempting to ram into Okuu and explode.*

[Kerrigan heeds Dracula's warning, and the zerg swarm falls back to out of range.
Then, from over a mile away, globs of acid start getting lobbed at the castle, slowly burning away at the magical stone.]

*Whoa, Kerrigan? That's Yukari, sitting atop some tiny hill or hive mound or similar, right near you.*
Right when one threat is done, another has to up and make their move. Seriously, Kerrigan?

What better time to attack then when your enemies are tired from fighting another foe?
