Have just handed over Nick's coat which is looking amazingly good so long as you don't look at the lining! Much faffage with feathers. Am happy to come over if I can stay? Can I take the Portchester tiara with me on Weds morning?

I'm very glad you have the tabs

Course you can - sheets are clean!!

We will need to find the Portchester Tiara - It wasn't in the obvious place.

Have done no buttonholes, no sleeves, no lining, frogging, tabs, gussets, etc, etc... but Nick's Stovepipe is more or less done. Looks quite good... and quite... tall.
It started at 30 cm high, but that really was ridiculous, so it got snipped to 20cm high, where it remains. The blue material looks V fetching on it though. Just need to put a disc of material on the top of it and it's done.
My own helmet is also virtually done... it looks OK... but what isn't apparent when you see a picture of a helmet being worn by a black heraldic bird on a blue and red background, is that the helmet itself may look intrinsically daft. It's hard to assess that objectively when a bird is wearing it. Anyway, it'll do.
Xam Dam's vambraces are nearly there too, though I don't know if I'm going to have time to get the shoulder armour done that I wanted him to wear.

Whoo Hoo!

Does it need fluffy trim? I know I left you some, but I have some more left. Need to work out something for Graham to wear on his head...
