Spent maybe too much time wandering through the library of congress photostream on flickr this evening... but I thought I'd share some of the ones I found especially striking, since I've wandered through so many and have them all open in tabs now ;)
I love the illustrative quality of these pictures of Ireland and the pictures down below of Norway. I recommend looking at the others in the photochrom travel views set, there's some amazingly picturesque things in there.

One of the commenters notes that pictures of this woman went on sale online almost as soon as the Library of Congress posted them. She is cute.
