I don't have HBO, but it's pretty darn neat that they're filming their show The Wire in Baltimore right now. Like, in MY neighborhood. Last week, they were at the bar that I am at every week, Brewer's Art, and then they were at the old condo bldg. The Belvedere, and now they're in my backyard. I never realized how much crap it takes to film tv

They filmed some made-for-TV movie by where I grew up once, and I remember it was the biggest thing to happen ever. It was about the Civil War, I think.

Yeah, I mean, it's dorky but cool to see it all, yknow?
I'm faring along alright... thanks for asking, Mr. Switchblade. School starts up again next Tuesday; it's been a nice break after a stressful summer quarter. I'm headed to an Orioles game on Labor Day, so that should be fun.
