you're a fucking magnet for this shit leila, i swear to god. i'm sorry. that sucks. I had to stop taking wellbutrin because of the side effects, too. not those ones. at least all those shitty side effects will go away, though (and then you can go about sorting out the new ones!).

Fucking fuck. Don't stop it without consulting your doc. Someone should have fucking caught this, Leila. Let them know they should have fucking caught it. Edema of unknown etiology in a 22yo with multiple medical issues is nothing to shrug off. They should have looked into your meds. If Wellbutrin is contraindicated in diabetic patients...shit.

Anyway, don't stop without a doc so you can wean off and get on something else. This is crucial to your overall care because you won't be as able to comply with the treatment for your diabetes if you're depressed. Don't fuck around and think you can will yourself out of depressive symptoms. They sneak up like evil, soul sucking ninjas.

Don't worry, mommy's coming soon. :)

i've alreadystopped the welbutrin and am stil communicating w/ my doc. i couldn't wait any longer because of the pain, it felt like my legs were going to bust. i don't blame them entirely for missing that because, like i said, less than 2% of patients ever get edema. but you're right, they should have looked into that, especially when i'm only on 2 medications.
