Yes,  I know I haven't posted in a ridiculously long time.  My post whore self is thoroughly shamed.

Part of the reason for my withdrawal involves the horrifically poor internet service here.  Its bad, very very bad.
But, that isn't a very good excuse, I know.

Saturday, went to Jen's party, which is one of those rare things where you get a good combination on people you already know, and new people you would like to get to know. Mary and Margaret (and Jen, of course) I had already met, and Elly I had only spoken to online, but now I have two new people :)

Isn't it amazing how the news can put everything into perspective?

I was going to whine a little about Arkansas (it actually wasn't nearly as bad as I had feared, only a few bizzarities), and then, quite by accident, I got the news about London being bombed.  It sort of all put it into perspective.

Have you ever noticed that when you screw up one thing, you screw up everything else too?

I think God is trying to punish me, or teach me some sort of life lesson, or is just pissed at me. I just wish I knew why.
