75 dollars on cough medicine and you wanna know what works??? honey!
she spent 45 minutes coughing her poor head off after taking the medicine from the doctor. so bad she kept waking up and gagging. Finally I gave her a spoonful of honey, it has been about an hour and she hasnt coughed once!

Oh wow. That's awesome. Will she drink hot tea too?

My kids much prefer hot tea and honey to meds. We also use warm vanilla (warm milk with sugar and vanilla) to help them sleep.
