As I think watercolours are incredibly complicated, I'm amazed with your drawing! I quite like it as it is, not inked lines or anything... It's a bit bluish, I suppose, it seem a cloudy day... ;)

Why thank you. I love the way watercolors look, so I just play around with them a lot, I know there are so many other things I could do with them, if I would take the time to learn. It does seem a bit blue -ish which mostly came from the scan, and then trying to lighten it up because it scanned too dark, oh well. I'll stick with what you said, "it's cloudy". :o)

Great colours! I like both versions - but I adore the view in the first. Who cares about the tilted Quidditch stands? It's magic.
I also love how you put Fred's name on the water bottle. Spiffing!

I like it alot, I can't watercolor for the life of me. The only thing I can mildly accomplish is colored pencils. Bah Humbug and good riddence.

I will admit that colored pencils boggle my mind. I can pull off just straight old -fill in this section with this color, but when it comes to blending and shading with those I suck!!! What do we need to do so that we can share our strengths with each other?? :o) Thanks for looking and commenting!

Oh, I love that!! The sketch was great, and this is so much better. The color add a lot of depth.

wonderful- i have had no success with watercolor in the past, but it's been years. i love how the lighting added so much more depth to their shirts and such.

I hadn't worked with watercolors in years either. I just felt like it, so i went to the store to restock on stuff (gasped at how much money I was spending) so then I went home and dug through all of my art bins and found more then enough supplies to keep me happy for awhile!! I really suck at visualizing where the light and shadows should be, so I'm happy that you think it looks decent. Merci beaucoup!
