Yeah! I somehow managed to finally finish coloring in the potions scene that I had illustrated last week. Some of you may have seen it already, but it looks WAY better now that it's colored, so please tell me what you think!

glad you like, I thought the color work came out pretty well too. i'm still sorta learning and referenced a few online tutorials for ideas, but overall I thought it turned out nice!

The only thing I would suggest with Hermione's glow would be to have it reflect on the things around her and maybe cast some shadows. Wonderfully detailed pic. :~)

Yeah, you know, i started to add reflections and stuff, but obviously it's a bit too subtle. And you are right there are many things that should have casted a shadow! How could I miss that?? Thanks for the pointers, I appreciate it. :o)

Thanks, that is a sweet thing to say. Glad that you didn't mind me borrowing your cool ideas! I just thought that Hermione glowing blue just begged to be drawn! I've also been thinking about illustrating the last scene, becasue, ya know... it's an adorable scene! ;o)
