Well, I went out to Cheapskates when they told me on the phone they had another Razor for $25... when I got there, the guy looked at the piece I broke and told me he had some extra pieces lying around... he found one that matched, helped me reassemble everything, and I paid $9 for the whole deal.  Not bad, eh?

That's excellent news! I've never feared for my belongings when in the middle of a bendy bus but I think from now on, I'll be more careful.

It was a very rare bizarre occurrence. On my way home with the repaired scooter I boarded a bus, and as I walked past the accordion section I shuddered.
