For once in many years, I am sad that my trip to Ontario is over. Each year it's difficult for me to return home and deal with the pressures of family life, the small town, countryside mentality, and my own demons of my past.  But this year was different...for the most part.  Glennis was able to be there with me, which made family time less painful

it definitely takes a lot of energy to deal with family, and i'm not saying i know much about yours, but it seems we're similar in our emotional overload (grief, anger, guilt, impatience, frustration, resentment) around managing our relationships with our mothers.

and glennis is fucking adorable. megan and i need to see much more of the two of you.
