I've noticed more and more people backing their fics up on AO3, and I'd say that's a great thing (if LJ ever goes down at least some fic would still be around! Or, y'know, journals getting deleted for whatever reason...who knows.) and I can say from experience that coding a masterlist is a pain in the ass (and I didn't even go for anything fancy, like listing by length or whatever.)

Yeah it's a good idea, I keep all my final drafts in word docs on multiple drives anyway (because paranoia is key with computers lol) but AO3 is super useful for lazy masterlisting! It also saves me making PDFs or ebooks of anything longer, which is possibly my favourite feature.

My SPN fic at least will still get posted here, maybe I'll just do weekly/monthly roundups with links of everything that goes exclusively to AO3.

Awesome! It's addictive right lol? I've only got a few TW fics up there right now but so many ideas haha.

AO3 is a brilliant site, despite the occasional bugs it's well worth using :D
