I just saw a movie that I really enjoyed, The Fountain, and I wanted to recommend it. It's getting mediocre reviews, mostly for being pretentious. If you'd be into a movie that you can just sit and think about, and don't expect to be given any answers (ie leaving the theatre saying "wtf?" is okay with you) then go see it. And afterwards, tell me

I was thinking about seeing it last night, but was turned off by the reviews. Instead, I opted for Van Wilder which was just as stupid as I expected.
