What is the current state of research on Huntington's? (In whatever depth you care to go after surviving your exam... :) )

One of the things that's so interesting about it is, even though we know exactly what the problem is (a triple repeat of DNA that gets expanded in the huntingtin gene - the gene is spelled differently from the disease) there's no consensus on exactly how that protein is toxic to only certain neurons
