Way to go, Iowa!

Went to the nursing school meeting found out I will be having 14 weeks of clinical in the ghetto. The real ghetto, not the Eminem starring in 8 Mile ghetto. There are no trees, instead there are mounds of rubble, blocks of burnt out houses, stray dogs and, oddly, brand new, customized black Cadillac Escalades scattered about.

I have not updated in a while so I feel now is the time even though typing my ruin my freshly painted nails. Anyway, I want to talk about bumper stickers. The reason I bring this up is because today I based my decision on whether to let someone merge into my lane on their various bumper stickers. So, I am perusing google news and find a review of Michael Moore's new film. It doesn't look favorable, so naturally it's the one I choose to read and, as I am doing so, something seems slightly off. Oh jeeze, stupid John Keats and his odes! I have one page and two sentences to write and then quite a bit of proofreading and article-searching until I'm finished...and I have work tomorrow. bah.

Er, prolonged absence from the internet begins again........now.

Oh my!

Nothing really, just that I'm getting sent home from work on a weekly basis because we have too many staff working and not enough patients to keep those staff busy.
