Hi all.  Long time no post.  I'm making a cake tonight.  A Gold Power Ranger cake for my little charge's 5th birthday.  My kitchen and I are covered in powdered sugar.  My sink is overflowing.  It's HOT.  I'm sweaty and sticky from the powdered sugar air.  BUT, so far so good, I have a nice cake body, covered in fondant, ready to be sprayed GOLD

Heh...I haven't posted for so long that when I saw mail with "reply to your entry" I was confused. What entry? Oh, yeah...cake.

It was to hot to even be LIVING last week. Thank goodness it's cooled off. Guess what I made today?

I built raised garden beds by myself from scratch!! No kits!! Just me, lumber a jigsaw, and a hammer and nails. They're BEAUTIFUL!!

When can we walk? We must catch up.

I had a life tonight! I went to see Thor in 3D with Devon! We ate wedges and sour cream and had coffee and flirted with the hot waiter! And then we came back to the Dragonslair and hugged couch cushions and gossiped like little chipmunks until 2am.

She just left. And if I don't get into bed very soon, I will have been up for 24 hours and I have to work nightshift tomorrow night. AHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAhahahaha. Ha. Um, that's not actually funny. BUT TONIGHT WAS WORTH IT.

ETA: Wow. Not nightshift tomorrow night. Nightshift tonight. AHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA SO NOT FUNNY.
