I really like that part with all the extremely short sentences and the way you've written this, it reads like thoughts. And there are such heavy implications hiding behind the sparse dialogue. Especially that single sentence about Ryan too, at the end, that surprised me, and explained it all in such few words.

This line wrapped up the fic for me:
"It doesn't matter how Sami remembers it all, Kevin is always still the one constant in those spaces."

It's refreshing to get to read a story from Sami's POV!

Ahh ... this is just brilliant. All the little shades of meaning packed in each sentence, all the subtle little words, and dialogue. I like the way this reads like Salo's thoughts, and how he remembers Kevin.

I particularly like the way you've structured it, and how it's all Salo's POV (which is a rarity).

I kind of had to pull myself away from this several times because I didn't want to reach the end. As I just revealed to blueebsinthe moments ago, Bieksa/Salo is now my official OTP and I will ship it into the green and blue banners with the mighty fist of zeus!
