YOUR FILM

NOTE: Please exclude Tarantino films, settings, characters, and soundtracks to avoid bias!

List five of your favorite films: Garden State, Eternal Sunshine of The Spotless Mind, Juno, Nick and Nora’s Infinite Playlist, Fight Club
Describe your film's setting: intimate… I like films with a lot of dialogue, so I do not expect it to be outdoorsy… if anything, a city film,
List three characters you relate to the most and explain why:
1. Sam from Garden State: I thinkl when Zack Braff was writing this movie he was actually following me around and created a character about me. I live life as best as I can and try to face adversity head on because, as she says “that’s life.” I also have epilepsy and think it sucks, but what can I do?
2. Nora from Nick and Nora’s Infinite Playlist: Nora’s entire life is music. I am the same way, my little sister once called me ‘a musical vampire, she needs music to live.’ Plus she has a very dry sense of humor, like me.
3. Dr. Gregory House from House, m.d.: ok, I know this is a television show, but I identify with him on so many levels-the constant battle with an illness and the way it has changed your view with the world, the way it makes you feel different from everyone else. We are both sarcastic bastards bit if you really get to know us there is true love and we are worth the effort to love.
Pick five songs for the film's soundtrack:
1. The Shin- Sea Legs
And we got sea legs
And we're off tonight
Can I've that to which they've no right?
You belong to a simpler time
I'm a victim to the impact of these words,
And this rhyme.
2. Dave Matthews Band- Pay For What You Get
Everybody asks me how she’s doing
Has she really lost her mind?
I say “Hey, I couldn’t tell you I’ve lost mine.”
3. Death Cab For Cutie- Company Calls
I'll take the best of your bad moods and dress them up to make a better you,
'cause all the company calls amount to one paycheck
4.The Killers- This Is Your Life
Wait for something better
No one behind you
Watching your shadows
You gotta be stronger than the story
5. Coldplay- Amsterdam
Say what you mean but it won’t change a thing
I’m sick of the secrets

[x] coming-of-age
